About Us

Mercy’s Child is a music ministry / Christian rock band. Our heart is to touch lives, one heart at a time with revelation knowledge from God’s word. God has raised us up for such a time as this. As Adam Krock’s song “Is There Any Wonder” says;“I was raised on rock & roll, listening to my radio, but I was born to show my soul and let His love take control of my song.

Adam Krock (lead vocals and acoustic guitar) and Lou Bradbury (vocals and acoustic guitar) began working together in 1994. Our original sound reflected Adam’s strong rock & roll background and incredible harmonies coupled with Lou’s singer/songwriter, folk style of music. However our greatest influence was God’s word and our Bible study teacher Diane Kannady, who to this day tirelessly teaches us about the unseen kingdom to which we belong. We released our first CD, consisting of two voices and two guitars and simply entitled “Mercy’s Child” in 1999.

Percussionist Matthew Conner brought a new sound to Mercy’s Child in 2000 as he skillfully added his gift of rhythm, and attention to detail in finding just the right bell, symbol, or tambourine, always taking the ordinary to extraordinary. By 2001 Richard Daniels (lead guitar and vocals) was beginning to play with us on a regular basis. His incredible leads took Mercy’s Child into a whole new place musically. People who wouldn’t have ever listened to Christian music were being drawn in by Richard’s excellent leads.

In 2002 we released our second CD “Child of God”. This CD was a more full sound with the additions of Matthew and Richard as well as other musicians, Joel Conner, Brian Krock, and John Krumm who played a part in surrounding the message with their God given talents. We believe “Child of God” is the CD to play when you are facing a battle; it contains plenty of encouragement through God’s word put to music.

2004 was another year of increase, Toby Trentadue (bass guitar) a friend of Richard’s who had also been together in a band in high school began sitting in with us. It was a great fit with Richard and Toby reunited but this time to rock for Jesus. That same year Stan Sirtak (drums) taking every opportunity he could to play with us was drafted by Mercy’s Child. We know we are highly favored to have Stan with us, and we thank God for his willingness to glorify God with his gift.

In 2005 we completed and released our third CD “Heart of a Child”. This project had taken eighteen months to finish, and proved to be exceedingly, abundantly above all we could ask or think. God’s grace was upon this work, the Holy Spirit flowed through many gifted musicians,including Joy Nance-Johnson, Gwendolyn Corgan, Olivia Bradbury, Jule Price, and Chris Bergmann, who sat in with us to bring glory to God.

We know we’ve been appointed by God to bring glory to His name, and that our times are in His hands. Our goal is to be obedient, and follow as He leads. We are Mercy’s Child, and so are you.
